The volunteer RNLI lifeboat crew at Sheerness welcomed their new Shannon Class in November 2020. The Mrs. Judith Copping Joyce was the first Shannon Class lifeboat to be put into service in Sheerness. Named for the late Mrs. Judith Copping Joyce, who left a legacy for the use of the RNLI in her will.
